Dedicated to life long learning, the Shepherd’s Center of Columbia announces its Adventures in Learning Fall program. The Center offers a  broad range of weekly educational programs, beginning September 12 and concluding November 7, 2018. glassie-ladies Hourly sessions from 9AM until 3:15 PM are intended for adults 50 and older and are taught by highly regarded and respected experts. The fee for the fall program is $30.

NEW PROGRAMS include the History of Espionage; Andrew Jackson, John Calhoun, and the Petticoat Affair; The Big Band Caravan: Leaders, Crooners, and Canaries; Great Decisions 2018; Mother Nature’s Footprints: a Silk Scarf; Short Story Genre

RETURNING FAVORITES include Writing: a trip from the beginning to the end; Tai Chai; Yoga; Ukelele I, Foundations and Ukelele 2, Vibrations, beginning 9/19; Native American Mythology and Culture; History of South Carolina; Adventure Travel; TED Talks; Conversational Spanish; On the Road with Charles Kuralt; Mah-Jongg. A series of independent studios is also returning: the Art Studio; Playing Bridge; and a Thursday art Studio.

The fee for the Fall series is $30.  Attend as many or as few of the programs as you want.  A  hot lunch, prepared in the church kitchen and served in the church dining room. is available for $9.
