Old Timey Meds
Don’t miss Guerin’s, South Carolina’s oldest pharmacy. Guerin’s Pharmacy operates an old-timey, 1920’s Soda Fountain where you can get floats, malts, milkshakes, hot dogs, lemonade and fountain sodas. They also boast the best candy counter in town and have a great selection of SC gifts and souvenirs!

B.I.R.D.S.
As you walk around, keep an eye out for Flowertown’s B.I.R.D.S. The “Birds In Residence: Downtown Summerville” Project is a series of permanent, life-size bronze sculptures perched throughout the downtown area. Take the B.I.R.D.S. Tour and find all 22 avian sculptures!

Historic Remains
Visit the Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site, located on the Ashley River. Dorchester acted as a fortified post during the Revolutionary War. The town’s archaeological remains include the old brick bell tower of St. George’s Anglican Church, the historical cemetery of St. George’s Parrish, Fort Dorchester and more.
