Grandmas are moms with lots of frosting. ~Author Unknown
What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. ~Rudy Giuliani
Nice weather this weekend? Join a knowledgeable park ranger on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for nature and cultural programs and demonstrations at Congaree National Park. From Longleaf trail that is .3 miles in length to Oakridge Trail that is 6.6 miles long – they have something for everyone! Or enjoy the Boardwalk Trail with your grandchild, an easy amble on an elevated walkway where champion trees tower above.
Get a Junior Ranger Booklet when you arrive, and have fun filling it out with your grand baby as you explore the park! Once y’all have completed the book to the best of your ability just bring it back to the visitor center & watch them receive a badge or patch!
